This colorful card is from Gallaher "Dogs 2nd
Series" of 48:, 1938. The inscription on the back as
follows: The appearance and origin of these dogs is
as distinctive as their name. They come from Tibet,
a land which is famed for its various breeds of
dogs, two further examples seen on Nos. 15 and 30 of
this series. The abundance of hair protects them
from intense winter cold of their lofty country, and
in summer it is asserted that the natives shear off
the hair and weave it into cloth."

Lhasa Apso Playing

Sorry, we don't have any complete sets of playing cards. These were from
collections of antique cards and there is no way of knowing how old they
are or where one might find more of them. They are certainly a part of
Lhasa Apso history.
