Considerations when choosing a size or frame
- Framed prints and paintings come ready to hang.
- Colors and shades can vary slightly from your monitor screen colors.
- It is not a good idea to order a picture size that is more than double the size of the original painting or drawing, as this can lead to distortion or fuzziness of the image. In most cases we have not offered a size that is larger than recommended.
- Making images to fit standard-sized frames can result in some minor cropping or additions by copying the artist strokes to one or more of the dimensions. However, standard framing is less than half the cost of custom framing, and we are experts at cropping unnoticably.
- We have thousands more images than are shown (time constraints prevent us from showing all). We also carry nearly all prints of collectable cigarette cards sold elsewhere on the site as originals. If you would like to purchase a framed cigarette card repoduction (or other work of fine canine, equine, or feline art that you don't see here), please email your request and we will check our archives. If known, send name of painter, name of print, subject, (attach an image if possible). International stamps can also be framed in museum-quality framing (5"x7" approximately $55) or reproduced as paintings and framed for display (5"x7" for approximately $85).
Custom Paintings
- We can also produce beautiful custom Giclee canvas prints from your own prints, paintings, photographs or drawings (not under copyright protection). That means that your champions, prize-winners, beloved pets and family members can be preserved on canvas for posterity. Contact us directly for more information about custom work.
Shipping Time
- Shipment of Unframed Canvas Prints (when offered) is usually 7-10 Business Days After Order. UPS delivery time 3-5 business days after that.
- Shipment Of Framed Prints 7-14 Business Days After Order Except When Museum Frame Chosen Is Out of Stock. Then Shipment May Take 3-4 Weeks.
Special SHIPPING COSTS for Museum-Quality pieces
- Continental US (lower 48 states): Shipping for one framed piece (24"x36" or smaller) will appear in your order cart. If more than one painting is purchased, a rate of $15 will be added to each framed print after the first (24"x36" or smaller) regardles of what the order cart shows.
- Paintings larger than 24"x36" will be charged actual shipping costs regardless of what the order cart shows. To give you an idea, a 36" x 48" painting may cost from $100-$125 to ship.
RETURN POLICY & CREDITS
- Our framers guarantee the quality of our prints, frames, and stretching from major defects with product replacement or 100% credit on the items return with prior authorization.
- Since the prints and frames are custom made to your desired specifications there is 75% restocking fee for all custom printing and framing orders where there is not a major quality problem.
- Any claims for shipping damage must be initiated within 2 days of receipt with the delivering carrier, preferably on day of receipt. That means that any package damage must be noted with the delivering carrier. All damage claims must be filed with delivering carrier. We will gladly help with this process, but damage noted with the carrrier is the only way to insure your package delivery.
- All returns must be made within 10 days of receipt (no exceptions); and all returns must have a prior return authorization number for processing and crediting (no exceptions).
